Front Piece

I will be following this 25x38 pattern from BraceletBook:

1. 25 ch, 1 ch to turn (26)

2. 25 sc, 1 ch to turn (26)

3-36. Follow the pattern as a tapestry as shown in tutorial

36-37. 25 sc, 1 ch to turn (26)

38. 25 sc

Border the piece with sc, 3 sc in all corners. Fasten off and leave a piece 3x the length of the short side of the tapestry for sewing.

If you're planning on blocking, fasten off and weave in the end, then block before the following steps :)

Sewing

Sew a stick to the tapestry (I recommend sewing round over the stick through the stitch from the back) on one end (*if you fastened off to block, cut a piece of yarn 3x the length of the top of the tapestry, refasten yarn to starting point and follow as instructed). Fasten off and weave in end. Cut another piece of yarn 3x the length of the short side of the tapestry and repeat at the bottom of the tapestry. Cut a long enough piece of yarn and tie to the ends of the uppermost stick so you can hang the tapestry.
